What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing channel and what are the reasons why an online marketer need one?

It's a marketing strategy that you employ to convince potential customers to buy your products. It's a sales process by which a person comes to your blog seeking information that could help to solve a particular problem. However, via specific tools, you can learn how to build an ongoing relationship with every person who visits your blog.

This will enable you to fully understand your customers' requirements. This will allow you to give the best information possible to every visitor. If you can gain trust from a visitor, they are more likely to buy your products. The visitor then becomes a client.

At some point the majority of customers become extremely loyal clients who are ready to buy any product that your website promotes. A marketing funnel describes the steps required to convert a person who comes to your website into a client who will return to you for future purchases.

For every internet marketing professional that is their final objective. It is possible to achieve this with a well-constructed funnel.

Your promotional materials are drawing attention of people and leading them to the funnel. Once they complete the forms on your PERSONAL Lead Capture Page, they are able to enter your funnel. Since they're not likely to sign up for your lead capture page for business, I use the word "personal". They want to be leaders, not an organization.

The page for lead capture is where they begin the funnel. If they click on the "Sign up now" or the "Enter here" buttons, they will be able to access a whole new world of network marketing.

The best aspect is that they have qualified themselves to be able to do it. It's their decision. You've sold them nothing, other than your leadership qualities, a mentor, and as someone who can show them how to get more leads and more money into their business.

This is how a standard funnel works.

To attract and qualify people to your products, you need to offer them an opportunity to win a prize on the "front end". To receive your product for free, join (also called opt-in), and provide your email address and name. In turn you'll add them to your email list.

Now, you have these contacts in your email list and you are able to send them related promotions that may be of interest to them.

When they sign up for the offer, they'll be taken to a page that offers a low price or what is known as the tripwire offer. This is the point where they go to the "back-end of the funnel."

If they buy the low priced offer then they will be taken to a different offer at a higher price (normally called an upsell). A person who also purchases the lower priced offer will be directed to the next similar product at a higher rate. This can go on and on...
